Mario Andritti

Mario Andritti was born in Montana, Trieste,Italy on Feb. 28, 1940. He is on American autombile racing driver known for a hard driving style that enabled him to win the championship on the international m Formula One Grand Prix circcuit in 1978. He was the second American, and the first since 1961 to win racing best title. He came to the US with his family at age 15, but only after began to idolize the great Italian drivers. He won many different titles in the years that he raced. He retired from racing in 1994.
