Fourth Grade Teacher, Ann Quarles named Wake County 2008 Teacher of the Year!
Congratulations to Ann Quarles on being selected Wake County's 2008 Teacher of the Year! We know her as a great teacher and are so proud the committee recognized it too!
As Mr. Sposato said, " She engages the children in explicit, focused and differentiated instruction that is both engaging and challenging. Ann exhibits best practice instructional strategies and a clarity of instructional purpose. Her room is covered with charts that provide a record of student learning."
She is a prime example of the dedicated and talented staff here at Powell!
