Welcome from Mr. Sposato...

It is my privilege to serve as the principal here at Powell GT Magnet Elementary School. This is my ninth year here at Powell (4 as the assistant principal and this is my 5th year as the principal) and I simply love this place. In fact, I met my wife here. We have a wonderful school full of caring and hard working teachers and a great group of gifted and talented students.

The fundamental purpose of our school is student learning but our elective program is what makes us such a unique school. We are a gifted and talented magnet school, which means we believe that every child has gifts and talents. Our particular focus is in the areas of visual and performing arts but our media/technology program is a strength as well.
